It has been just twenty days since leaving the beautiful UAE and I am itching to see land. Good news, it looks as though I will be returning home for a few weeks. I will be attending the Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, RI. The timing couldn't be more perfect as this will give me an opportunity to recharge my batteries for the remaining two months when I return. Not to mention I will get to see my hot wife who will be flying out to see me. A weekend in Newport and one down in Annapolis--the perfect vacation. Crabs and beer--I can't wait!

So you may want to know what has been going on out here. Well, not much to be perfectly honest. I am learning how to be a division officer while keeping my sanity--harder than it sounds. I am in the Engineering Department which is especially stressful. Also, I am learning how much my family means to me. I can't wait to see all of you soon; Nicole and George, Mom, Mike, Dad, Bruce, Gabe, and David. I also cannot wait to see my East Coast family this winter--Teff, Rich, Vick, lil Richie, Bill, and Maria. I am so proud of all my friends who are around the world doing good things. I look forward to a reunion with all of you guys and gals.
