SWOS

For the first time in a long time I'm sitting in a comfy air conditioned hotel room relaxing and watching the Navy v. Pittsburgh game. Hello, everyone. I'm back from the Gulf attending Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, RI. I qualified as an Officer of the Deck on my ship a few weeks ago and they sent me to San Diego for a few days before coming out here. In true Justin fashion, I didn't tell Nicole about it and showed up at her work sneaking up on her her in the parking lot. You should have seen the look on her face. After having not seen her for almost six months, she was overwhelmed to say the least. I have a picture but it's not very flattering so I won't post it.

Anyway, WESTPAC has been a roller coaster. I'm glad to be home and even more excited that I won't be getting underway until the 8th of November--and that's just for ten days. Here are a few shots of what life has been like the last half year for me. I look forward to seeing most of you this holiday season as Nicole and I will be traveling back east and up north to see everyone.
